Privacy policy

What we collect on digisalix.fi, what we do with it, and how to ask us to stop. It is short, because there is not much of it.

Digisalix Oy — “Digisalix”, “we”, “us” and “our” below — is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains the privacy practices for the Digisalix website at www.digisalix.fi.

What we collect

What you tell us

We collect the information you give us yourself: what you type into a form on this site, and anything you send us by email. If you apply for a position, that includes your CV and whatever else you choose to attach to it.

Analytics, and why there is no cookie banner

We want to know which pages are read and which are not, so we measure the site with Fathom Analytics. Fathom is built to answer that question without identifying anyone: it sets no cookies, stores no personal data, and does not track you from one website to the next. Your IP address is used only to work out roughly which country a visit came from, and is discarded rather than stored.

That is why this site has no cookie banner. We are not asking for consent to set cookies because we are not setting any — not for analytics, not for advertising, not for anything else. What we see is an anonymous count: how many people visited, which pages they opened, roughly where in the world they were, and which site sent them here. None of it can be traced back to you, by us or by anyone else.

Fathom Analytics is a service of Conva Ventures Inc. It processes this data on our behalf, which makes it our data processor. We use Fathom’s EU isolation, so what it collects is gathered and stored on servers inside the European Union and does not leave it.

Content embedded from elsewhere

Articles on this site may include embedded content — a video, a map, a slide deck. Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited the other website: that site may collect data about you, set its own cookies, and track your interaction with the embed, including tracking it against your account if you are logged in there. Those interactions are governed by that site’s privacy policy, not by ours.

What we use it for

  • To reply to you about the reason you contacted us.

  • To consider your application, if you have applied for a position.

  • To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used, so we can make it better.

We do not sell or rent your information to anyone, and we never will.

Who else sees it

Only Fathom Analytics, as described above, and only the anonymous measurements it collects. What you send us in a form or by email stays with us. We give no third party access to our systems beyond what is necessary to run the site and the operations described here.

Other sites

Social media

We are present on social media channels such as LinkedIn. We have no control over the security and privacy of anything you send us through a social platform — those interactions are governed by that platform’s own policies.

Links out

This site links to third-party websites. If you visit one and submit information there, that site’s privacy policy applies, not ours. We recommend reading the privacy policy of any site you hand information to.

Children

This site does not address anyone under the age of 15, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 15. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal data, please contact us and we will remove it.

Your rights

The personal data we hold about you is yours. You have the right to:

  • see what data we hold about you, if any;

  • receive that data and have it transmitted to another service provider;

  • have it corrected;

  • opt out of any future contact;

  • be forgotten — to have your data erased entirely;

  • object to our processing of your data;

  • raise any concern you have about our use of it.
